a native of the pacific northwest, i find myself at home along the shore. using
a variety of mediums and methods, i attempt to explore the ways in which cultural
production and reception create meanings and experiences. having received an
MFA from Vermont College, i continued my studies at University of Warwick with
an MA in film studies with research on issues of representation within popoluar
culture, such as race, gender and sexuality. i currently teach at Cornish College
of the Arts, as well as Vermont College as an artist/teacher. my experimental
films have been screened in national and international festivals and i collaborate
with Tania Kupczak producing tactical media as part of Yes Sir.
