Curator - Curate twelve art exhibitions each academic year in the Cornish Gallery comprised of faculty, alumni and student artists, as well as curate and produce annual BFA Graduation Exhibitions highlighting the work of 80+ Art and Design graduates. Curator duties include: Curator of artwork and development of exhibition concepts; Design, fabricate, install and light exhibitions containing 2D and 3D artwork, multi-media installations and site-specific outdoor work. Administrative duties include: Promotions; Art direction and copywriting exhibition essay and advertising copy for direct mail and press releases. Finance; budget development and management of $80,000 annually. Additional projects include the development and implementation of the Cornish Visual Arts Lecture Series and Cornish Art Department Alumni Relations. Responsibilities also include working proactively with Facilities and Operations departments in the design of capital projects and campus resource regulatory efforts in relation to student exhibitions. Additional duties include safety protocol development and implementation of campus wide safety policy with regards to injury prevention and response, hazardous communications, and personal safety.
